Andy Miller

Mr. Miller was raised in the Beverly Neighborhood on Chicago’s southwest side. He attended Brother Rice High School in Chicago, Indiana University, Bloomington, and Northwestern School of law at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. In addition to receiving his Juris Doctor at Lewis & Clark he earned a Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law.

After working for a large national law firm for six years, in 1995 Mr. Miller formed his own firm. His practice includes defending premises liability, product liability, automobile, dram and other personal injury claims, as well insurance coverage issues. For the last twenty years Mr. Miller has built relationships representing multiple national fast food chains, a well known international coffee house chain, insurance companies, and other large self insured corporations.

He has tried cases in more than twenty courthouses throughout Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin, in state and federal courts. He has litigated cases in over forty counties throughout the Midwest. Mr. Miller has argued before the First, Second and Fifth Appellate Courts in Illinois and handled appeals in United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and in Indiana. Over the last twenty five years he has published articles, authored newsletters and lectured throughout the country on a variety of topics involving premises liability, product liability, dram and insurance coverage issues.

Mr. Miller has also coached football for more than fifteen years. He is an assistant varsity football coach at Nazareth Academy in LaGrange Park, Illinois, the 2014 and 2015 State Champion. He is also a 2015 inductee of the Brother Rice High School Circle of Champions, along with his teammates from the 1981 State Champion Football team. Mr. Miller has the rare distinction of playing on a winning Prep Bowl team and State Championship team at Brother Rice, and coaching a winning Prep Bowl team (Fenwick) and a State Championship team at Nazareth.

Elizabeth Boratto

Ms. Boratto was raised on the northwest side of Chicago in the Dunning Square neighborhood. She attended Resurrection College Prep, Chicago, Illinois State University, Bloomington, and Southern Illinois University School of Law, Carbondale. Ms. Boratto had a wide variety of interest during her law school career. She was an editor for the Journal of Legal Medicine, a research assistant in the area of white-collar crime, a volunteer at an immigration detention center in Southern Illinois, and an intern for the Cook County States Attorney’s Office.

Ms. Boratto joined the Miller Law Group following her graduation in 2011. She concentrates her practice in the areas of premises liability, dram-shop actions, insurance coverage issues, subrogation, contract disputes, family law, as well as other personal injury and property damage claims. Ms. Boratto actively practices throughout the state of Illinois and has handled lawsuits in over 35 counties in Illinois. When she is not in the office, Ms. Boratto spends her leisure time running races throughout the Chicagoland area and reading about history and politics.
